Shahrazad Dance Ensemble performs folkloric Middle Eastern dances based on dance of the Levant, Egypt, North Africa, and the Persian Gulf. We also perform modern Egyptian and American Belly Dance. And we also perform imaginative and entertaining choreography to fusion music when we appear as our alter egos, The Wild Women of Wongo -- perfect for children's parties, holiday parties and science fiction conventions, Above: Shahrazad Dance Ensemble of Seattle performed our rattle dance and also our newest choreography to the song "Urmawi" by Corvus Corax. We took the stage as our alternate troupe, The Wild Women of Wongo at the 2008 Mediterranean Fantasy Festival in West Seattle, produced by the Babylonian Ensemble. Shahrazad
